WHAT IS SAFHR FOR LANDLORDS?
The State Assistance for Housing Relief (SAFHR) for Landlords program allows landlords to apply for rent assistance on behalf of their eligible Missouri tenants who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program covers up to 18 months of rent, including arrears back to April 2020 and forward rent (up to 3 months of forward rent per application). Funds are paid directly to the landlord.
To apply for utility assistance, tenants must submit a separate SAFHR for Renters application.
